This is the last poem I've written for this album. I wrote and recorded it while I was by myself in my boyfriend's apartment in Portland. I've been a little homesick and I've been thinking a lot about leaving where I grew up to start the next chapter (excuse the cliche) in my life. I often think about the things I love and hate about home, but how they are still important to me.
Maxton Stenstrom provided the sound for this one and very much captured the feel of Tucson at night.
